Faith Formation Programs at The Madeleine

In the Sacrament of Baptism, many signs and symbols represent our dying to self and rising from the water to new life in Christ Jesus. The Madeleine parish community is present for the Sacrament to support and welcome us into a life of faith. In addition, parents promise to raise their child in the Catholic faith, with the loving support of a godparent and our church.

We offer the Sacrament of Baptism to registered parish families who have been active in our community for a minimum of three months.

Please download and print all three documents related to Baptism found on this site:

First Reconciliation/Eucharist:

These Sacraments are available to all children who are in second grade or older. Preparatory classes are from 9 - 9:55 AM on Sunday mornings beginning in January. Please note that there is a parent session and a student session during the class time. There will be one Saturday morning retreat in the fall and one in the spring.
First Reconciliation will be held in February and First Eucharist is held in May. See the registration form for specific dates.

Our fun and informative class series is based on concepts from the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program. It is loaded with hands-on projects, thoughtful, age-appropriate discussion, and opportunities for quiet prayer and reflection. Our goal is to lead each child toward their own experience of faith and relationship with God. Both parents and students are giving it rave reviews!

This year, we have some exciting news. Not only will we hold a confirmation program here at The Madeleine, but in an exciting pilot program, we will also be managing a confirmation program taught at Central Catholic High School!

With permission of their pastor, students from any parish in the Archdiocese may attend the program at CCHS, then be confirmed at their own parish or at The Madeleine.

Confirmation is open to any High School youth, generally freshman & sophomore, who have been baptized and received First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.
