Chromebook Troubleshooting

Chromebooks are great but can occasionally have problems. If you are having trouble with Zoom and your Chromebook, it could be one of the following…

  1. Your wifi/broadband connection is not strong enough for all the devices working in your home. Check your wifi/broadband connection.
  2. The processor on your Chromebook is not strong enough to support Zoom. If you have a Chromebook that is competing with other devices in your home, this could be the problem.
  3. Your Chromebook has too many tabs open. When you are trying to Zoom, make sure everything is closed on your device.
  4. Other people in your house are Zooming too.

What can I do? You could try…

  • Use a computer or laptop to do your Zooms and use your Chromebook for other digital school work.
  • Download Zoom to an iPad or cell phone at home and use that device for Zoom.
  • Use headphones and/or microphone to help with audio
  • Check your wifi/broadband connection

Technology problems can be frustrating. Let me know if I can help you in any way,
