Sacramental Programs at The Madeleine
Baptism
In the Sacrament of Baptism, many signs and symbols represent our dying to self and rising from the water to new life in Christ Jesus. The Madeleine parish community is present for the Sacrament to support and welcome us into a life of faith. In addition, parents promise to raise their child in the Catholic faith, with the loving support of a godparent and The Church.

First Reconciliation & First Communion
Registration for the 2026-27 school year is OPEN! Classes are held from 9:15am-9:45am in the School Library between the Sunday morning masses. Please join us on Sunday, September 13 at 9:15am in the Fireside Room for a Meet and Greet to start off the year! Email sac-prep@themadeleine.edu with questions and registration forms. Forms can also be dropped off at the Parish office.
Our fun and informative class series is loaded with hands-on projects, thoughtful, age-appropriate discussion, and family follow-up activities. Our goal is to lead each child toward his or her own experience of faith and relationship with God, while supporting parents as the primary catechists for their children. Please check back soon for more information.
If your child has passed the age for First Communion but has not yet been baptized, they will need to go through classes for OCIA for Children, that is, the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults adapted for children. Please email Lauren Craig at lcraig@themadeleine.edu for more information.

Confirmation
Confirmation registration for the 2026-27 school year is OPEN! This year, we will be offering a Parent-Led model, in which parent/guardians will purchase access to the materials and present the lessons to their children. Please join us on Tuesday, September 15 for a Meet and Greet and Orientation at 6pm in the St. Catherine Room.
As part of the class, we will meet one Tuesday a month in person to review lessons and go deeper into what it means to live out our Catholic Faith. See registration and schedule below. If you are an adult seeking the sacrament of Confirmation, please reach out to lcraig@themadeleine.edu for more information.
For more information, send an email to lcraig@themadeleine.edu
