Moses said.\u00a0 &#8220;Take just what you need for today.\u00a0 Only on the sixth day, take enough for two days so we can have a day of rest on the seventh day.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The hungry people began gathering this miraculous bread.\u00a0 Some took large amounts, some small, but they all had the right amount for their families.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some ignored Moses&#8217; instructions and saved some of the bread.\u00a0 In the morning, they found this manna was full of worms!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moses was not happy with them.\u00a0 They had not trusted that God would provide for them the next day.\u00a0 God did not send them more bread each day for a long time to come.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5>The Manna Song [<a href=\"http:\/\/products.pastoral.center\/pc\/pc143\/1\/download-ry72\/Bryan%20Sirchio%20-%20The%20Manna%20Song.mp3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">click to play<\/a>]<\/h5>\n<h5>Worms in the Bread [<a href=\"http:\/\/products.pastoral.center\/pc\/pc143\/1\/download-ry72\/Bryan%20Sirchio%20-%20Worms%20In%20the%20Bread.mp3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">click to play<\/a>]<\/h5>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Questions for sharing, reflection, and journaling:<\/h3>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take a few quiet moments to think about what you heard and your response to these question<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why do you think God asked the people to take only what they needed each day?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moses told the people that God would provide for them.\u00a0 How do you experience God providing for you?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">God told the people that if they worked on 6 days they would have enough food to rest on the 7th day&#8211;the Sabbath.\u00a0 How can you trust that you have worked hard enough for 6 days and show you are willing to receive God&#8217;s gift of rest on the Sabbath?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Share your thoughts with one another. Write some of your thoughts in another page of your Journal or draw a picture of this story.
